As an Instructional Designer, Trainer, and Coach I take a creative, person-centered approach. I enjoy working closely with others to develop learning strategies and create training programs that positively impact individual learners, meet team goals, and foster a collaborative and innovative organizational culture.
My background includes in-person and virtual learning events, synchronous and asynchronous training, instructor-led and self-paced instructional design in public, nonprofit, and private settings. I have a strong background in development of interactive learning programs and materials, and I am always striving to bring more hands-on tools and techniques across all training modalities.
When I'm not focusing on work, I lead an active life in Colorado, enjoying snowboarding, skiing, hiking, and my new e-bike. And I am planning to take up golf (wish me luck!). In addition, learning and teaching Cuban Salsa (Casino) and Rueda dance forms feed my creative side and provide me with a positive, energetic, and loving community.

This badge is the culmination of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing the ID Fundamentals, Rise, Storyline, eLearning Development, and Instructional Design Process badges. Earners complete 400+ lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. Earners create a portfolio that must pass certain criteria.
